This is another highly innovative design from DTS and is protected by UK patent application.
Very few walls have an internal angle of exactly 90 degrees and no worktop jig currently on the market can cope with these small variations. It works by adjusting the angle of the male cut to compensate for the angle of the walls. The Out of Square worktop jig will achieve internal angles from 87 degrees to 93 degrees in 0.5-degree increments. Although this does not seem much, a 3-degree variation will cause a gap of around 105mm over a 2-meter length worktop, and over a 5 meter length the gap could be 262mm!
Unique pin adjustments will allow up to 12 angle variations combining only four pins.
ade from laboratory grade high pressure laminate with an anti-friction surface to help the router glide across the jig. It includes four nylon alignment pins and an instruction leaflet. Requires a ½" router cutter and a Ø 30mm guide bush as well as a pair of G-clamps.
